We tested the hypothesis that sympatry among closely related species is possible only in the absence of interspecific competition. Phylogenetic reconstructions; species delimitation; modelling competition using phylogeny and species distributions; reconstruction of historical dispersal. The clade comprises six species, which classify into two ecomorphs.

Visiting the Pigs and Spearfishing at No Name Cay Ep. 77

Species of the same ecomorph are parapatric or allopatric, whereas species belonging to different ecomorphs overlap their ranges. Reconstruction of species past dispersal implies that sympatry is of secondary origin. Interspecific competition presumably controls evolutionary and ecological dynamics in subterranean environments in a similar way as in more familiar surface environments. The pages in general are yellowed and foxed from age and some corners curled and creased. There's also a sight waviness to the pages from prior water exposure. Not a beautiful condition but definitely usable and collectible due to the rarity of this signed edition. Hard Cover. Book appears very lightly read with a hint of foxing at edges, probably due to storage and the less than perfect paper stock.
